  • Ground cardamom2 g

Let’s make it

  1. Whisk starch into 150 ml cold water; gently heat sugar with remaining water in a heavy pan.

  2. Pour in starch and stir continuously 25–35 minutes on low heat, adding oil, saffron, rose water and cardamom.

  3. When thick and glossy, fold in pistachios, pour into a lightly oiled dish and cool until warm.
